Adaption Lab

adaption Lab, 基于认知与生理人因工程的个人产品设计中心，关注产品的原型研究与创新。Adaption一词意为适应性，来自达尔文的适者生存理论，不适应环境的生物在变化中被淘汰，而在逐渐复杂的现代环境中，人、产品与环境并非是简单的单方面适应，更像一个相互适应的过程，而研究这种适应的本质性正是adaption lab所追求的。

adaption Lab成立于2020年，融合了来自USST与TU Delft的产品方法以及多学科的现代设计流程，21年后加入University of Nottingham的Human Factors and Ergonomics研究方法，提供以用户体验为中心的高品质产品服务，囊括产品、交互、建构与艺术。

接下来adaption Lab将在找寻人、产品与环境变动中的每一个符号的同时，更加关注于产品的制造，工艺与材料。

adaption Lab, a personal product design center based on cognitive and physiological human factors engineering, focuses on product prototyping and innovation. In the modern environment, people, products and environment are not simply unilateral adaptation, but more like a mutual adaptation process, and the study of the nature of this adaptation is what the adaption Lab is pursuing.

Founded in 2020, adaption Lab combines products’ approaches from USST and TU Delft with a multidisciplinary, modern design process. 21 years later, it joins the University of Nottingham’s Human Factors and Ergonomics research approach to provide a high quality, user experience-focused product service that encompasses product, interaction, construction and art.

The next part of the adaption Lab will focus on the manufacturing, processes and materials of the products, while looking for the symbols of people, products and environmental changes.
